今天是清明連假最後一天，綿綿的細雨令人想起徐志摩的這首詩，它翻譯自英國女詩人Christina Georgina Rossetti(克莉絲汀娜．羅塞蒂1830-1894) 的作品「Song」，曾走過民歌時代的道親也許聽過羅大佑在1989年譜成曲，網路上有另一個翻譯版本，是台灣詩人陳黎和妻子張芬齡所合譯。暫且把它當成清明的主題曲來欣賞：

我墳上不必安插薔薇(Plant thou no roses at my head,)

讓蓋著我的青青的草Be the green grass above me,
淋著雨也沾著露珠With showers and dewdrops wet;
假如你願意請記著我And if thou wilt, remember,
要是你甘心忘了我And if thou wilt, forger.
我再不見地面的清蔭I shall not see the shadows,
覺不到雨露的甜蜜I shall not feel the rain;
再聽不見夜鶯的歌喉I shall not hear the nightingale,
在黑夜裡傾吐悲啼Sing on as if in pain.
在悠久的昏暮中迷惘And dreaming through the twilight,
陽光不升起也不消翳That doth not rise nor set,
我也許也許我記得你Haply I may remember,
我也許我也許忘記And haply may forget.

彷彿哀吟的歌唱；Sing on as if in pain

在既不升也不降的And dreaming through the twilight,
